Notice the difference

Interesting blooper on the BBC Breakfast TV-show this morning. Unfortunately, I missed it because I slept through my alarm.

Two Breakfast presenters were introducing their next topic. Very slick Scottish politician and First Minister Nicola Sturgeon was going to join the team in the London studio life from a studio in Scotland.

Nicola Sturgeon, who is also leader of the Scottish National Party, was going to be interviewed about plans for a second Scottish Independence Referendum. One of the reasons for another attempt to escape the UK is what Boris Johnson recently dubbed the successful Brexit. Like other parts of the UK, Scotland wants out and remain part of the EU.

Unfortunately, instead of the charming Nicola Sturgeon, it was London Zoo’s Kumbuka gracing the BBC Breakfast screen.

Of course, if it had been an interview with for instance Trump or Johnson, it would not have mattered much if the “I want my freedom” gorilla had stolen the show and answered questions.

A mix-up between Kumbuka and Nicola Sturgeon is far more serious. So far, she never ended up dangling like Boris Johnson. Unlike many politicians, she is also able to give intelligent answers to questions – without ranting.
