It takes some twit – rather one stupid twitterer – to call a nineteen-time Oscar nominee an “… over-rated Hillary flunky”. Fortunately, it isn’t just me considering the PE an over-rated lump, mentally and emotionally and in every other manner totally unsuitable to rule a great nation like the US. Unfortunately, too many backed this twit.
One sincerely wishes this particular PE would just shut up and disappear out of sight – with wife, complete family, all cronies. Unfortunately enough, the rest of us seem to be stuck with this over-rated PE and soon-to-be US President for a few years to come.
At least the twit has a few good points. There is his incredible stupidity he insists on sharing with all and sundry using social media. There is his incredible ability to entertain the rest of the world, by doing this.
I own up: I think Meryl Streep is a good actress. Have a look at various of her films and you will notice she is pretty good in most – as well as pretty versatile. Off screen, she seems a decent and nice person.
This does not mean I am a slavish fan of hers. The moment it became known there would be another film about Florence Foster Jenkins, with Meryl Streep playing Florence, it was clear this film would grab awards. Would grab awards regardle of how good it and the actors and actresses would be. Personally, I prefer the earlier released French version to any Hollywood vehicle.
As for Meryl Streep’s speech which provoked a twitter attack: it has been published completely by the UK Telegraph. Of course, it is a nice speech. It is the total opposite of the usual nasty twit by the much over-rated flunky, currently the US PE.
