Fake news, fake facts

Among all the bad news, what did raise a laugh was the latest story on fake news and fake facts. The Washington Post discovered a fake cover.

Of course, it involves a certain person who once angrily tweeted his staff had problems landing on the same page he was on.

No surprise there, once the Post published its real news. The real fact is, one potus 45 uses fake pages – or rather fake Time covers.

Not just one – plenty. The fakes were discovered gracing, adorning, prettifying the Winter White House – for starters. It soon turned out the faked covers beautify walls elsewhere too.

President’s spokes person Huckabee refused to comment on potus 45’s addiction to plastering fake wallpaper on various walls. Media have uncovered the real Time issue. It shows a beautiful photo of actress Kate Winslet, stating “best actress’.

Remains the question who framed Trump? Did he – in between twittering and golfing – find time to do some copy and paste job? Is faking media covers his latest hobby?

Did Trump replace Kate Winslet’s nice face with his ugly mug-shot? Or is Barron, or any of the other Trump kids, responsible for framing daddy this way? One presumes the hand of a grown-up in this “forgery”, rather than some kid’s hand.

When the discovery of the fake covers was revealed, Time was not amused. It insists, demands, the Trump Organisation removes all fakes from various walls of Trump golf clubs.

Meanwhile, other media the world over where extremely amused. Within hours, the story appeared in translations around the globe. Plenty people are also having fun with this fake-cover story on social media.

Not sure there will be tweets from a certain person about this real news, real fact – his fake cover.
